Modular rack and pinion with a precision planetary gear unit, adapter and coupling matched to the servo motor. Gear modules 2 – 4. Number of teeth 16 – 25. Maximum feed forces 1.7 – 16.0 kN. Maximum linear speeds 0.14 – 5.3 m/s. Linear backlash 0.008 – 0.044 mm. Quality class 6 pinion. Optionally with reduced linear backlash, safety brake, servo motor or rack and pinion servo drive ZV-P-EZ.

Modular Pinions for ZV-P-ME Rack and Pinion Drives

• Quality class 6 pinion gearing according to DIN 3962
• The pinion of the rack and pinion drive is case-hardened and features helical teeth (counter-clockwise direction 19° 31′ 42″).
• Zero-backlash shaft-hub connection, shrink-bonded and secured with a key
• The corresponding rack must have a right-hand design (19° 31′ 42″), minimum quality class 8, C45 material, induction-hardened
• The customer is responsible for lubrication of the pinion and rack; we recommend high-quality synthetic oil-based lubricants, NLGI 0 class.
