Static brake torque 8–100 Nm. Max. torque 108–7,500 Nm. Backlash 1.0–3.0 arcmin. Efficiency 93–96%. Optionally available with fan cooling, single-cable servo motor, manual brake release, reduced backlash, and modular gear wheel. Servo motor adapter (MB) with ServoSTOP brake

• The spring-applied brake is integrated into the motor adapter

• Functions as a holding brake

• Capable of braking from full speed, e.g. in case of power failure or emergency stop situations

• Can operate as a single brake or together with the motor brake as a redundant braking system

• Electrically released for dry-running operation

• Equipped with a backlash-free plug-in coupling (jaw coupling), allowing easy motor removal with the axis braked in any position

• Electrical release monitoring in the terminal box via a non-contact, wear-resistant proximity switch

• Manual wear inspection by checking the air gap with a feeler gauge

• Radial shaft seals made of FKM with dual sealing lips

• Four oil drain ports to protect the brakes from oil contamination in case of leakage

• Differential redundant system compliant with EN ISO 13849-1

• Electrical connection as standard via a terminal box, optionally via plug connector (not possible with release monitoring)

• In the de-energized state, braking is achieved by spring force
