ZTRS-PH-EZ Planetary Rack Servo Drives

Modular rack system with a supported and bearing-mounted ZTRS gear wheel, equipped with a PH planetary gearbox and an EZ STOBER servo motor.Servo gearmotors in the power range of 1.4–16.0 kW, with gear ratios from 4:1 to 70:1. Linear backlash: 7–70 µm. Modules: 3–10. Number of teeth: 15–32. Maximum feed forces: 2.8–94 kN. Maximum linear speeds: 0.12–4.0 m/s.Optionally available with reduced radial runout ≤ 10 µm, encoder, resolver, up to 2 safety brakes, fan, reduced linear backlash, and single-cable servo motor.Includes a servo drive with motion controllers SB6, SD6, SC6, SI6.

Modular ZTRS Gear Wheels

• Gear quality class 5 according to DIN 3962
• The rack drive pinion is diffusion-hardened and features helical teeth (counterclockwise, 19° 31′ 42″)
• Flange-mounted gear wheel with thrust bearing housing, bolted design
• Optional felt gear wheel for lubrication
• The matching rack must be right-hand design (19° 31′ 42″), minimum quality class 5–6, material 16MnCr5 or C45, induction hardened
• Lubrication of the gear and rack is the customer’s responsibility; high-quality synthetic oil-based grease, NLGI class 0, is recommended
