Helical gearbox with adapter and BOWEX/ROTEX coupling. Ratio range 2:1 – 276:1. Max. rated torque 21 – 6,000 Nm. Backlash 10 – 20 arcmin. Efficiency 96 – 97%. Protection class IP65 / IP66. Gearbox with adapter perfectly matched to electric asynchronous motors with IEC or NEMA-C flanges. Gear unit optionally available with ATEX explosion-proof design. Cast iron housing.

• Output shaft: solid shaft with keyway.
• Precision gearbox with ratio expressed as an exact fraction, no positioning errors.
• Maintenance-free, no oil changes or servicing required up to size C5.
• Quiet operation due to helical gears.
• Standard sealing: FKM at the input / NBR at the output.
• Low moments of inertia.
• Continuous operation without additional cooling.
• Ambient temperature from 0°C to 40°C (other temperature ranges available on request).
• Permissible continuous operating temperature ≤ 80°C; short-term peaks up to ≤ 120°C.
• Protection class IP65.
• Oil quantity depends on operating position.
• Operating position must be specified when ordering.
• Delivered ready for operation, filled with synthetic gearbox oil type CLP HC ISO VG 150.
• Standard primer coating in RAL7001 or RAL9005.
