• Case-hardened and finished, quality class 6.
• Precise linear feeds at the level of 90–123 μm.
• High linear speeds of up to 3.3 m/s.

• Direct connection to a servo motor without an adapter and coupling, as a ZV-KL-EZ servo rack drive.
• For duty cycles > 60% and higher ambient temperatures, FKM radial shaft sealing rings are recommended at the output.

Modular Pinions for ZV-KL-MQ Rack Drives

• Gear quality class 6 according to DIN 3962.
• Helical gearing, case-hardened and ground (left-hand, 19° 31′ 42″).
• Backlash-free shaft-hub connection, shrink-bonded and secured with a key.
• The corresponding rack must have a right-hand design (19° 31′ 42″), minimum quality class 8, with induction-hardened C45 steel.
• Lubrication is the customer’s responsibility; high-quality synthetic oil-based lubricants, NLGI 0 class, are recommended.
• Two pinion mounting positions available: (E) gearing at the end of the output shaft, (S) gearing directly next to the gearbox, providing higher permissible feed forces.
