Flat cylindrical gearbox with servo motor, encoder and two ServoSTOP safety brakes. Power range 1.5 – 19.0 kW. Gear ratios from 4.3:1 to 56:1. Maximum brake torque 8 – 100 Nm. Maximum gearbox torque 67 – 1,100 Nm. Backlash 5.0 – 11 arcmin. Efficiency 97%. Servo gear motor optionally with reduced backlash, resolver, fan, brake release device. Supplied complete with Stöber servo drive including motion controller, cables and resistor.

• For duty cycles > 60% and higher ambient temperatures, radial shaft sealing rings made of FKM are recommended at the output.

• Cast iron housing.

• Direct mounting of STOBER EZ/LM servo motor possible without adapter, coupling and dual brake.

• Standard colour: black RAL9005 (other colours on request).

Servo motor adapter (MB) with ServoSTOP brake

• The DC holding brake is integrated into the motor adapter.
• It has a holding brake function.
• Braking from full speed, e.g. in case of power failure or emergency shutdown in hazardous situations.
• It can operate as a single brake or in combination with the motor brake as a redundant braking system.
• Electrically actuated for dry-running operation.
• Equipped with a backlash-free plug-in coupling (jaw coupling) enabling easy motor removal with the braked shaft in any position.
• Electrical release monitoring in the terminal box via a non-contact, wear-free proximity switch.
• Manual wear control via air gap inspection using a feeler gauge.
• Radial shaft sealing rings made of FKM with double sealing lips.
• Four oil drain holes protecting the brake from oil contamination in case of leakage.
• Differential redundant system according to EN ISO 13849-1.
• Electrical connection standard in a terminal box, optionally as plug connector (not possible in combination with release monitoring).
• In de-energized state, braking is provided by spring force.
• Released by DC electromagnetic coil before motor start.
• Motor plug connectors or terminal box/plug connector of the motor adapter are mounted in 270° position.
• Together with the motor brake, this provides a dual-brake solution with extremely compact dimensions.
