DRE claw distance coupling
Aluminum shaft of any length terminated with two claw clutches with elastomer inserts. Claw distance coupling with split clamping hubs. Max. shaft length 3000 mm. Max. torque 12.5 – 525 Nm. Linear clutch for mechanical synchronization of drive axles over long distances. High torsional stiffness. Optional laser-welded, stainless steel, or carbon tube clutch.

DRE distance couplings features
- KBK line shafts with elastomer connectors are flexible shaft couplings that allow long distances to be covered.
- Torque transmission is backlash-free and vibration-reducing thanks to the cross element.
- It acts as a compensation element for the drive shaft and determines both the characteristics of the clutch and the drive system.
- To modify these properties, cross elements with different Shore hardnesses are available.
- Always a perfect fit!
- We manufacture our linear shafts exactly to the lengths required by our customers.
- Backlash-free guide shaft
- Lengths up to 3000 mm available
- For synchronous operation of two axes and for covering large distances between shaft ends.
- Vibration reduction by one spider element per clutch side
- Easy radial assembly
- Torque range from 12.5 to 525 Nm
- Hub material: aluminum
- Spider element: polyurethane
- Tube: aluminum
- Hub bore tolerance: H7
- Optional keyway according to DIN6885
- Longer versions up to 6 m on request!
