Rack and pinion drive with bevel servo gearmotor with absolute encoder. Angular servo geared motors with a power range of 0,3 to 4,5 kW. Gear ratios from 2:1 to 100:1. Low linear backlash 30 to 44 µm. Modules rack and pinion 2 – 4. Number of teeth 16 to 25. Feed forces max. 1.3 to 11 kN. Linear speeds max. 0.08 to 6.8 m/s. Gear quality class 6. Optionally resolver, brake, fan. Includes servo drive with motion controller and cables.

• Very rigid right angle servo gearmotors with slide on pinion

• Brushless permanent magnet synchronous electric motors with encoders

• Two pinion mounting positions available:

  • (E) toothing at the end of the output shaft

  • (S) toothing directly next to the gearbox for higher permissible feed forces

• Direct mounting of STOBER EZ series servo motor without adapter or coupling

• High precision with low, constant linear backlash of 31 to 44 µm

• No positioning errors thanks to fractional gear ratio

• Quiet operation due to helical gearing

• Maintenance free, no oil changes required

• The matching rack must be right hand helical (19° 31′ 42″), minimum quality class 8, material C45, induction hardened

• Lubrication of pinion and rack is the responsibility of the customer; high quality synthetic oil based grease, NLGI class 0, is recommended
