Rack and pinion drive with bevel servo gearmotor and absolute encoder. In the power range 0,29 – 1,4 kW. Gear ratios 4:1, 8:1, 16:1, 32:1. Low linear backlash 99 – 123 μm. Module no. 2. Number of teeth 16 – 20. Feed forces max. 0,34 – 2,7 kN. Linear speeds max. 0,21 – 3,3 m/s. Teeth quality class 6. Optionally with resolver, brake, fan. Includes servo drive with motion controller and cables.

• Rack drive gear: Diffusion-hardened with helical teeth (counterclockwise direction 19° 31′ 42″)
• Backlash-free shaft-hub connection: Shrink-fitted and glued, additionally keyed and bolted
• Compatible rack design: Right-hand configuration (19° 31′ 42″), minimum quality class 8, material C45, induction hardened
• Two pinion mounting positions available:
  • (E): Toothing at the end of the output shaft
  • (S): Toothing close to the gearbox, allowing for higher permissible feed forces
• Lubrication responsibility: Customer-supplied; recommended high-quality synthetic oil-based grease, NLGI class 0
