• Two pinion mounting positions: (E) teeth at the end of the output shaft, (S) teeth close to the gearbox for higher permissible feed forces

• Drive gear is diffusion-hardened, with spiral teeth (counterclockwise 19° 31′ 42″)

• Backlash-free shaft-hub connection, shrink-fitted and keyed

• Pinion must be right-hand design (19° 31′ 42″), minimum quality 8, material C45, induction hardened

• Lubrication of pinion and rack is customer responsibility; high-quality synthetic oil-based grease recommended, NLGI 0
