SD6 servo drives

Controlling servo axes precisely and quickly is its game. Due to its high computing power, the SD6 recalculates the position, speed and torque control of the servo axes every 62.5 μs. This enables extraordinarily high dynamics and precision for the drives with very short recovery times and also fast reactions to set value changes and load jumps.

- XI6A – extended I/O card (13 inputs/10 binary outputs, 3 analog inputs/2 outputs), HTL/TTL and absolute SSI incremental encoder connector, step/dir control
SD6 servo drive communication cards:
- CA6 – CANopen® communication module
- EC6 – EtherCAT® communication module
- PN6 – PROFINET® communication module
ST6 safety module in SD6 servo drives
- ST6 safety modules add the Safe Torque Off (STO) safety function to 6th generation drive controllers with safety technology.
- Fully electronic solutions, ST6 work quickly and do not wear out.
- Regular, intermittent system tests are unnecessary. In practice, this means increased availability of machines and installations.
This extremely practical feature completely eliminates the often very time-consuming planning and documentation of functional tests.
