Bellows couplings
Metal bellows couplings are the first choice for all applications that require high dynamic positioning – the classic application in servo drives. They are characterized by an absolutely backlash-free function and high torsional strength. Maintenance –freedom, fatigue strength and low restoring forces with misalignment, top off the features of the bellow coupling. Our modular system allows an incomparable variety of options, which offer the suitable coupling for each assembly situation.
Elastomer couplings
Elastomer couplings are the durable solution for positioning applications, wherever high torques must be transmitted in compact installation spaces. By means of elastomeric spider elements in different grades of hardness, the characteristic features of our claw couplings can be modified from vibration reducing to torsionally rigid – depending on the requirements. The pretension of the elastomeric spider elements in the jaws of the coupling allows a servo-ready, backlash-free version.
Bearing overload couplings
Due to the integrated roller bearing, backlash-free safety couplings offer a compact possibility of torque limitation for indirect drives for attaching belt pulleys, sprocket wheels and so on. For the absorption of radial forces, we offer a long version with two bearings available for each type. Our safety couplings with slide bearings are especially designed for the attachment of compact drive components. Compared to the versions with roller bearings we can use a smaller centering diameter and a smaller pitch circle of the threaded bore.
Overload elastomer couplings
To protect direct drives, i.e. the backlash free connection of two shafts, our safety couplings with spider elements are always a good choice. A wide variety and different hardness degrees of the elastomer elements offer the perfect solution for applications with vibrations, impacts and harsh operating conditions.
Overload bellows couplings
Absolutely backlash free and high-precision by using the metal bellow as compensating element, these couplings protect each servo drive, which connects two shafts. Our modular system offers a large variety of versions to configure the suitable safety coupling for each application.
Distance couplings
With KBK line shafts, high distances between shaft ends are no longer a problem. These line shafts are precisely manufactured with an accuracy of one millimeter according to the requested length. An extremely light and rigid precision tube made of aluminum contributes to the high performance. Therefore, it is the perfect solution to synchronize both linear units and lifting gears. This type, which is also called drive shaft, is both available as metal bellow and elastomer coupling – but we are also able to produce one-sided rigid versions or completely rigid versions.
Magnetic couplings
For the permanent protection against frequent overload, our magnetic couplings are the right choice. They work absolutely wear free and for that reason they are of fatigue strength and maintenance-free. The simple connection by using clamping hubs and the quick adjustment of the overload torque via the insertion depth of the inner into the outer rotor, allow a fast and uncomplicated use. The following operating principles are possible: the permanent magnetic coupling, which starts „bucking“ in case of overload and the hysteresis coupling which slides similar to the sliding coupling.

Cardan couplings
Our cardan couplings are based on the cardan joint. The precise coordination of pins and bushes reduces the backlash of the coupling to a minimum and thus allows positioning applications. The possibility to compensate high misalignment at minimum restoring forces in compact installation spaces turns our cardan couplings into a special problem solver. We offer this coupling for the transmission of torques in an easy-to-fit clamping hub, for the absorption of high tension and compression forces. Furthermore, we offer our screwable version for linear drives – our linear coupling.
Slit couplings
Due to their unique slit structure with different angular positions the design, also known as sliced couplings, can compensate possible shaft misalignments and transmit relatively high torques at compact dimensions. They are backlash-free and characterized by a high rigidity which leads to very good positioning accuracy in dynamic drives. The version in stainless steel are particularly suitable for the food sector and pharmaceutical technology.
