LM encoderless servo motor
LM electric synchronous motor with permanent magnets, brushless, encoderless. Power range 0.74 – 8.1 kW. Max torque 2.25 – 25.7 Nm. Rated speed 3000 rpm. 96% efficiency. IE5 energy efficiency. Positioning accuracy +/- 1° with Stober servo drives. Optional encoderless servo motor with brake, gearbox, splash-proof and dust-proof design, with a special color. The ideal replacement for an asynchronous motor.
LM encoderless servo motor
LM servo motors do not have a built-in encoder, but exhibit so-called anisotropic behavior, in which the winding inductance depends on the rotor position. The drive controller sends electrical signals through the motor windings and uses the received signals to calculate the motor rotor position. This allows LM type motors to be used as servo drives in applications where a positioning accuracy of ± 1° and a speed ripple of ≤ 1% are sufficient. The speed and torque of encoderless servo motors can be continuously regulated from standstill to maximum speed with full torque control.
