-
The fundamental idea of converting rotary motion into linear motion using a worm wheel and a threaded rotating spindle, while achieving this within the smallest possible space, remains just as ingenious today as it was 40 years ago.
-
Since 1965, the standard Classic MC series screw jacks, with their traditional housing design, have been a crucial component in engineering and design offices. The concept of transforming rotary motion into linear motion using a worm gear and threaded spindle, and implementing this in a compact space, remains as brilliant today as it was back then.
-
The advantages of this lifting mechanism design lie in its ability to handle and transmit relatively high lifting and adjustment forces while forming a functional unit. This is achieved through the interaction of the worm gear as the driving element and a robust trapezoidal-threaded spindle as the output, combined with only three supporting elements and a solid bearing. A stable housing with additional spindle guidance completes the system.
-
The standard Classic MC series screw jacks are particularly suitable for tasks in electromechanical linear drive technology that involve medium to high axial forces, where the lifting frequency and lifting speed are not the determining factors.
-
Due to the design, no structural components can be attached to the housing.
Two design options are available:
- With an extending spindle
- With a traveling nut
