SD6 with DL6 Quick DC-Link more
6 generation SD6, SI6, SC6 engine controllers are new products of the Stober company. They introduce a new quality of control, such as the CIA402 standard. SI6 and SC6 devices are available in two-axis and single-axis versions. Support for single-cable motors has appeared, where the encoder and power signals are in one cable. The innovation also includes the introduction of servo motor control without an encoder. These are Lean motors in the IE5 energy class, where position-speed is calculated from a mathematical model and the measurement of currents and voltages. The Drive Control Suit (DS6) operating program is also new, it introduces a clear interface and additional functions.
Another new feature is the extended safety functions card in the SE6 controller. It introduces additional safety functions such as: SDI, SLI, SLS, SOS, SSR, SLP etc.
The new generation also introduces support for the CIA402 standard. We can periodically synchronize the moment, speed, position
The new series introduces the possibility of controlling linear motors thanks to the support of linear encoders:
The DS6 software is a convenient tool for scaling the axis, it allows you to intuitively enter the gear ratio and the measurement unit. It also makes it possible to check what revolutions the motor will have for a linear speed, e.g. 2m / s.
The new generation offers more possibilities for referencing the axes, such as homing to moment / stop:
The control panel that allows you to check the correctness of the axis configuration and run the selected command.
Torque control thanks to the MC_Torque_Control command, we can set the torque value in percent. The reference can be block positioning, command positioning or assigned to an analog signal via a potentiometer.
It is possible to signal the completion of 5 freely selected motion blocks (positioning blocks), thanks to the Motion block control unit tab:
We can also switch between blocks with 5 triggers. We can assign any subsequent motion block (positioning block) to one trigger. Such a trigger can activate the start of the next block by interrupting the currently executing block or after its completion. We can also set the position of such a signal.
The signal for the trigger can be set from a digital input or any parameter of the BOOL type can be defined:
Possibility to use 5 INT32 and RAL32 variable comparators. Allows to issue a BOOL signal when the value of the expression is true.
Introduction of the digital potentiometer function, the so-called Moti-poti. We can use digital signals to increase and decrease the setpoint for speed control.
Automatic drive tuning function that allows you to adjust the settings of the controllers:
User control and status word. These are two 16-bit parameters that the user can define and send via the network.
The ability to set your own four parameters displayed on the screen in the SD6 engine controller:
A new feature is also your own freely definable list of parameters displayed in an additional window. Thanks to this, we can access the parameters that interest us. We can save such a list and use it in subsequent projects.
The new products also include a multi-axis scope. It allows you to observe up to 12 signals.
